Prior to this year, I had only read my poetry live for my master’s thesis reading and that … was many years ago. I’ve discovered over the past couple of months, that I enjoy reading my poetry out loud to an audience, so I thought I would read you a poem today. I recorded this to celebrate the one-month anniversary of the publication of Gathering the Pieces of Days. I shared it on Facebook and Instagram and I’m also sharing it with you, my subscribers and followers whom I don’t know on other social media channels.
