This collection of small kindnesses, all together, makes something very striking, LeeAnn. Your poem makes me want to look for more of the same. Hugs for you & Pookie 💛
Reminds me of when, each evening in a journal, just before I went to sleep, I used to write down a few of the things I had most appreciated about that day. It was amazing how, even during the most uneventful, boring, or obstacle-filled times, there were always things to appreciate. ☀️
What a beautiful poem, LeeAnn! There’s so much kindness and goodness in the world, even now, and reading your poem feels like a needed and welcome reminder to breathe that in. And thank you for the kindness of including my book in the photo! ❤️
Beautiful poem, LeeAnn. Your poem's reminder of the enduring presence of kindness, combined with yesterday, have me feeling something I haven't felt in a long time...hope! I'm so sorry to hear about your poor kitty. I'm glad you have more time with Pookie though and I know you'll savor each moment.
Love the kindness of strangers, family and friends, punctuated by butterfly drinking sweet nectar at end♥️.
Sending Pookie, your most handsome tuxedo, warmest loving thoughts. My Samie (who I had to let go last month) had liver failure at the end😿 the best gift we can give is our loving care— to the end. It never gets easier.
Thank you for sharing about your cat companion, Pookie. Each moment with them is precious and I hope their remaining time with you and your family is special.
Those small kindnesses do add up to a nicer way of living each moment, day, year, and life.

A beautiful slice of life! Thank you for sharing☺️
Thank you!
YesYesYes! The goodness is always there, if we but have the eyes to see.
Indeed. Some days you have to really look for it. But it’s there.
Lovely.
I'm so glad you get more time with Pookie.
Me too. He’s so special. And his brother Chompie too. Thank you for the restack too!
Chompie and Pookie—I love their names 💛.

Isn’t it amazing how noting those moments can shift an entire day?

Thanks so much!

Thank you, thank you! Tuesday was a bit of a lift, election wise, but these last couple weeks have been hard. I should do another kindness list!

You’re welcome, LeeAnn.
What a touching story about your cat! I really liked how the poem itself is sorta there to comfort the reader. Very nice.
Thanks so much, Michael!
What a delightful catalog of kindnesses. It takes me on such a journey through an ordinary day. It makes me want to write my own catalog.
I'm so sorry about your dear cat.
Thanks, Melanie. It’s kind of amazing when I stop to pay attention.
Wonderful poem ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much, Donna.
And for restacking it too.
