I always have a snoop around the acknowledgments, makes the author seem more 3D for me. Love the lines, 'flowers faded to white / painting the forest in eyelet lace,' that image has stuck with me.

I always try to read a book's acknowledgements because I find it so interesting to see who in the author's life is the driving force behind the achievement of publication. I also like to do it because it tells me a bit more about the author, as it's one of the only times we get to hear them use their own voice to speak to us.
I have no idea what my own acknowledgements would look like, but I fear I might be one of the ones that thanks every single person I've ever met 😅
Thanks, Daniel. So glad you liked the poem. I submitted the acknowledgments but I already thought of someone I left out, so I have to resend them. I imagine I'll have to update them a few times.
Beautiful poetry- thank you for sharing.
Thank you and thank you for restacking the poem

Who has taken my hand? You have, LeeAnn. Not once, but time and again. Thank you for that - I love you.
As you have mine… ❤️
Such a beautiful intro and the poem was very moving. Thank you LeeAnn!
