3 poems, what a treat. It's my dream to go to Japan at cherry blossoms season.

If you ever have a chance, go. Japan is such a wonderful country. My brother lived there for three years so I was able to go when he was there.

I read, then reread, then read again your poems this morning. With each reading something new. How wonderful.

Both of these poems - and all the description that surrounds them - are beautiful, LeeAnn! Trees feel like friends to me, too, and I love how your first poem so beautifully holds their individuality.

Those are two lovely poems. And now I am a subscriber of you. Thanks. I have a buddy, back home in Maryland, who basically only paints trees. You might like his stuff. https://www.douglasmoulden.com/

Thanks, Weston. The paintings are wonderful. More like collages with moss and string and wood. They must amazing in person.

They are remarkable and the color and texture is powerful. We own four of them that we bought years ago. He is my best friend. We raised our sons together.
