Thanks, LeeAnn. Such a wonderful poem. And I love finding things in old books. I recently borrowed a really ancient one from a local library that contained several pressed leaves. There’s a poem/story there. ✨

This poem which I love captures the reason why I especially enjoy buying used books...intersecting lives of the author, previous readers, current reader and hopefully, future readers, aah.

I love that too, obviously. All that history between two covers…

Love this ode to hidden gems and the hidden histories of books. I love thinking about all the lives they have lived! And thank you so much for recommending my library post. What an honor and I’m so very grateful you checked it out. Happy hunting and happy writing!

I love it. Finding a good used book (especially one I loved from the library but don’t own yet) is such a sweet gift.

I love where you found the poem, it has its own origin story, that’s so cool

So enjoyable, so utterly relatable from the first prose part about books and libraries. I had the same love affair with all of it. Thank you.
